Explosive behaviour when angry

My child is 6 years old. He would shout and scream loudly when he gets angry. He will also clenched his fists, closed his eyes with tears flowing out. His reaction to anger was very intense. This happened many times already. Is this normal for a child his age to behave in this way? Does he need to seek help?
