Child misbehaving in public

Saw a approx 10 yr old boy today at the mall throwing tantrums and jumping up to hit his mother and yanking her handbag. Father just watches on like he's watching a movie..not sure why did didn't step up to help but maybe because they experience this everyday at home as well.

Quite shocking to see kids behaving this way...

I get quite disappointed when I see children behave this way towards their parents.
