Few things
1. Independence, like counting money using coins and small notes for recess
2. Toilet trained cleaning up properly after a pee and poop
3. Taking down notes into daily for homework
4. Packing school bags
5. Basic English and Maths, they would usually be tested in the first month on their ability
6. Managing a heavy school bag. They are usually very heavy so get them used to carrying it and offloading from their shoulders
7. Waking up early so get them to sleep early and train them to wake up early.

1. Children should be able to listen to and follow two to three part instructions.
2. Children should be able to clearly communicate their needs, especially to their teacher.
3. Children should feel comfortable managing their own clothes
4. Children should be able to listen to and understand five to ten minute stories
5. Children should be able to match and sort objects by simple attributes, such as shape, colour and function.

I do feel what you feel. I do have the same worry but since I enrolled my child to a memory enhance school. Not only does her memory improved (a lot) but also her social skill. I am still worry because there is an ongoing pandemic but the school now offers online class. It is very helpful to my child and to me as well because I am also learning from the methods that the school is teaching my child :D
