getting external tutor would be a great help for us busy parents, we need someone who can check on our kids homework

It would really depend on your child needs, sometimes you have to consider what your child's interest, it's a total waste of money if your child lacks interest on the tuition school you're getting him/her to

You can skip tuition if you can't find a good tutor.

It's best if you can get a teacher who are very experienced (10+ years) and taught in prestigious school before.

Highly recommend Ms Vivien Le from Le Xue. She taught in Catholic High and is very good and patient in teaching the students. Many of her students jumped grades in PSLE under her guidance.

Only tuition if your child is weak in the subject, cos there are already remedials in school so its quite sufficient..

You can check out edify as well. It's an upcoming tuition centre in kovan offering small group math and science tuition. They only have qualified ex-MOE teachers.
