My son who is 3 years old sleeps very late at night. He will usually sleep between 11 plus to 12 plus every night although he only sleeps abt 1 hr plus during daytime. Is this normal for a toddler his age to sleep late every night? What can I do to induce an earlier sleep pattern for him?

Toddlers around 3 yrs of age sleep around 8-9 pm. What time is his afternoon nap? Perhaps you can bring the afternoon 1 hr nap to an earlier time slot..if the nap is late afternoon that could affect the sleep at night. Or if he gets a bit bigger maybe can wean away from the afternoon nap and see if he can sleep earlier at night.

Yup can fine tune the day time routine to adjust better to sleep earlier in the night. Maybe some light exercise in the day can help like swimming, walking.
