LASIK Surgery?

After years of suffering from worsening myopia, my ophthalmologist Dr Steve Seah finally recommended LASIK. Any idea what to expect or experience with LASIK?
Pros: You will get perfect vision and cure astigmatism if you have.
Cons: Over-corrections may result in 'lao huan yan' early.
You'll need to find a very established doc who has done many lasiks as he will know the correct degree to lasik.
