Transferring of Primary School

Hi parents,

I have recently been rejected by my nearest neighborhood school due to too much demand. But we're Singaporean, and is just within 1 km away. Still got rejected. Sigh.

So we went for the 2nd option and balloting, which actually manage to get my kid in. However the travelling is really pretty inconvenient. Have to take bus and change bus etc. And probably not considering for my kid to take school bus as she is just gonna enter her P1 Phase. Still a new environment for her.

Worse part, 1 year later the school will be going into a renovation, so temporarily that particular school will be shifting to another place for 2 years. Which is much more further. Oh my goodness.

Tried appealing with MP to get to the 1st option of the school but got rejected again.

Any idea if there is any way or I have to wait till which period to appeal again?

How is your situation? Did you managed to get into the school you appealed? Usually they would have allocation for your child should a child in that school withdraws studying there.
