Studies have shown that atropine eye drops may help for slowing down the progression of myopia in children.

You should bring him to consult an eye doctor for assessment.

You can try atropine eye drops which help reduce the tendency of increment..or reduces the amt of increment for kids. Can speak to your eye doc.

Is your boy degree suitable for this? I thought it is for mild myopia.

Anyway, it is good if it can slow down the myopia increase.

Looks like a good eye doc will be able to advise on this.

Can't comment much but I could share with you my experience Yvette. My kids is 12 and 10 years old. Both were 450 degree and 350 degree previously. We consulted our neighborhood optometrist (regular) and were introduced Orthokeratology lenses. 3 months into wear, both of them no need glasses and last check seems to have no increment in degree. So quite effective imo. Share with you their website can go for the consultation first https://orthok.eyesight.sg/, by the way, at tampines ah. if you stay in the west paiseh hahaha

Keep the reading and school work to a shorter duration with breaks at home?

And more outdoor play is good..I think children nowadays are glued to TV and phones..they don't play out much anymore.
