Kids rarely exercise but they do have fun and play. Any opportunity as a family or a group friends to play is exercise itself. Take ordinary tasks and let them be opportunities for exercise. E.g. Your child requires stimulus. Throwing is another way to gain stimulus.
I would redirect your child's actions into a structured play and involve learning new interactions.

Have specific responses to specific actions.
